The Red King, Now TV

The Red King is your classic procedural drama but with a bit of twist. Starring Anjli Mohindra as police sergeant Grace Narayan, the six-part series delves into the unsolved case of a missing boy on the remote island of St Jory. The team behind it are as stellar as the cast, with Doctor Who's Toby Whithouse as writer and, as director, Daniel O'Hara – best known for his work on Harlan Coben's Stay Close and The Stranger.

Married to a struggling champion (Mike Faist, West Side Story), Tashi's plan for his comeback takes an unexpected twist when he competes against his ex-best friend, Patrick (Josh O'Connor, The Crown), who also happens to be her former flame. As their intertwined histories unravel and the stakes rise, Tashi grapples with the price of victory.
