Andy Warhol: Beyond The Brand
From his Campbell’s soup cans to his fluorescent Marilyn Monroes, Andy Warhol was a defining artist of the 20th century. Fans will be pleased to hear Mayfair’s Halycon Gallery has just extended its Andy Warhol: Beyond The Brand exhibition, and it’s worth getting down there while you can. GRAB A DRINK:
Prelude By Oriole
Three-month pop-up Prelude by Oriole opened its doors in The Yards last week. From the minds behind great boltholes like Bar Swift and Nightjar, Prelude paves the way for a new permanent place coming this summer. Alongside the usual cocktails, there’s an à la carte menu featuring dishes like beef tartare sando and duck with orange mole. Prelude isn’t quite as late night as its older siblings – it’s open until 11pm, Wednesday to Saturday, with a couple of live piano sets each night.

TT
TT, formerly TT Liquor, will unveil a new restaurant on Friday. Thanks to ex-Oren chef Sam Lone, dishes include the likes of smoked ox cheek croquettes and barbecued mackerel. At the Victorian police station-turned-venue, there’s now a renovated rooftop bar or a new ground-floor space.

GET DATE NIGHT RIGHT:
LPM
Tucked away in the mews behind Claridge’s, LPM has been bringing a touch of the Mediterranean to London’s dining scene since 2007 but has stayed somewhat under the radar. With playful, sunny interiors, a herbaceous drinks list and a riviera-inspired menu – featuring seafood, escargots and plenty of tomatoes – this Mayfair gem will make you feel like you are on the Amalfi coast. Up until this Sunday, the restaurant's pastry chefs are bringing a bit of nostalgia to their desert menu with a sweet special: a LPM style rice pudding with seasonal rhubarb.
